Well, this is it! I’m actually a day late, so I will leave my final item on sale until I close for a short winter holiday vacation. My Winter Solstice and final item is my Watercolor Batik Painting of Fire ‘N Ice, one of my garden roses. (You did know that December 21st is the first day of winter, right?)

My mini watercolor batik paintings are small versions of larger works, all completely original. I’m trying different paints and colors for each one, and will only try 25 variations. So this is a very unique limited artwork.
This particular version is my 3rd attempt and I tried gold gouache in the background. Gouache is another word for opaque watercolor. And for a limited time only, this piece is discounted in my Etsy shop.
It’s been challenging but fun to post a different work each day. I hope you have enjoyed this. If you did, shoot me a comment and I might try this again in the future.
